Is there an API to get current License count?

I need to monitor how many licenses our org is using so I know when to acquire more. Is there a REST API that I can use to pull that information?

There isn’t an API to get the allocated licenses and types for your account today.

I submitted a feature request in September of 2019 for this. Probably safe to say this is not gonna happen. I had been doing workarounds by ± whenever an account is added/deleted. Now since we moved to a standard licenses count, I can just do our total count of users compared to licenses, but that’s still suboptimal.
